Leaving your pets behind when you travel is tough for everyone involved, including our feline friends. Here at Tipp to Tail Pet Resort, we totally get how much you love your pets, because we love ours (and yours) just as much! That’s why we go above and beyond to ensure the health and well-being of all our cat lodging guests.

Cats can be so social yet incredibly independent, and it’s totally normal for your kitty to feel a little separation anxiety when you’re away. But don’t worry, our trained Pet Comfort Specialists make sure to interact and play with your cat every day. They work really hard to create a relaxing and comfy feline lodging environment.

Cats are such unique and smart creatures, so we know it’s important to provide a stimulating and soothing experience for their overall well-being. Whether it’s just one night or even a whole week, we strive to make sure your cats have a great time with us and return home feeling refreshed. Rest assured, they’re in the best care here at Tipp to Tail Pet Resort, and we want you to feel completely at ease.

Cat Lodging Services Include

Feel free to bring your kitty’s bedding, toys, food, and treats to help them feel right at home.

  • Roomy and comfy lodging suite
  • Flexible dining schedule (up to 3 meals per day) – Bowls and food are both provided
  • Litter boxes are provided for potty breaks
  • Comfortable bedding
  • Careful charting of daily food consumption and elimination
  • Medication administration if needed
  • Personalized attention and ample time for exercise outside of the lodging suite.

Lodging Pricing
  • Single Occupancy (per day, per suite) – $30.00
  • Double Occupancy (per day, per suite) – $45.00

Special Care Lodging

We care deeply about the well-being and safety of your furry friends. Rest assured, we are more than happy to cater to pets with special medical needs. Please note that the rates below are in addition to the base lodging pricing mentioned earlier. These rates apply from the day of check-in until the day of check-out, regardless of your specific check-in or check-out time. Your pet’s individual requirements are always prioritized.

Level 1 – Pets with the following conditions or requirements will be cared for at an additional $10.00 per day.

  • Require extra monitoring and must be lodged at Tipp City Veterinary Hospital
  • Pets requiring an inhaler or requiring four or more different medications (ie. oral, ear, eye, topical) during their stay

Level 2 – Pets with the following conditions or requirements will be cared for at an additional $15.00 per day.

  • Diabetic guests requiring injections
  • Post-surgery recovery requiring extra care
  • Pets requiring four or more different medications (ie. oral, ear, eye, topical) during their stay
  • Pets requiring the use of an inhaler or other respiratory treatments

Time-Based – Our professional team can provide Special Care outside the scenarios listed above (e.g., post-op rehab exercises for pets recovering from surgery). Pricing is calculated by estimating the amount of time necessary to complete the Special Care at a rate of $10.00 per 15 minutes/day. For example, if a pet needs to complete 15 minutes of post-op physical therapy twice per day, the price would be $20.00 per day.

Lodging Membership
Tipp to Tail has got you covered with our awesome Lodging Membership! It’s just $120.00 per year (starting from when you enroll) and totally worth it! Once you’re in, you’re in – no refunds or transfers. Check out the perks of being a member:

  • You can easily book overnight stays for any future date (non-members can book stays only up to 30 days in advance).
  • Early weekday check-in and check-out starting at 6:30AM (Monday-Friday)
  • Get priority booking when you’re on the waiting list for a last-minute reservation.
  • All the furry friends in your household can enjoy the perks of membership!
Scheduling Overnight Lodging
By default, you can only schedule overnight lodging stays 30 days in advance. But with Tipp to Tail’s Lodging Membership (see above for details), you have the flexibility to schedule stays for any future date!
Vaccination Requirements
We really care about the health and safety of your furry friend, so all our pet resort guests must have up-to-date vaccines.. We closely follow the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and many other veterinary organizations that show the importance of vaccines in protecting our pets against contagious and deadly diseases. The following vaccines are required to have been completed (including any necessary booster doses) at least two weeks before arrival for all feline pet resort guests:

  • Rabies – within the previous 12 months or three years, depending on the vaccine type
  • Feline Distemper Combination – within the previous two years
Health Assurance Program

Our Health Assurance Program is just $10.00 per pet, per lodging stay. It covers up to $500 in reimbursement for covered illnesses or injuries during your fur baby’s stay at Tipp to Tail Pet Resort.
